GMO's

Working on an assignment for one of my graduate classes and realized I wanted to learn more about genetically engineered organisms.  I knew they were plants, animals and/or bacteria that have been modified yet I didn't know much more.  I wondered if I was eating genetically modified foods? What affects do these foods have on our bodies in the long run? How do these GMO's effect our environment?  Will these GMO's stop world hunger? Today, I begin my journey to find some answers...
